Hey.
We are an indie organization unlocking artists on a real quarantine island in Menorca. We’re a small company and we think being small is a good thing.
We are neither venerable nor respectable, but we do believe in what we do.
On Lazaretto, an 18th-century quarantine island in the middle of Maó port, we provide a challenging and thought-provoking environment for artists to ponder their next pieces and find refuge and direction.
We believe in core principles and ethical values like peace, love, respect, freedom, harmony and diversity, but also hedonism.
This isn't some project put together by three lunatics. It took four.
Director. Marketing.
Carles Gomila, a professional painter and restless mind by vocation, is the one who conceived the concept behind Quarantine and encouraged the rest of us.
Sometimes we have to ground him, but we acknowledge that he has good ideas.
Marshall. Production.
Joan Taltavull, nicknamed “Puck” by part of the team. And it’s that his ethereal movements and innate elegance betray his artistic background in fields as diverse as dance and fashion.
The “surprise” details of Quarantine are his doing.
Communication. Production.
Itziar Lecea, the one who will probably give you the most instructions on the island. Meanwhile, she will make sure that all the communication that has to reach you is as clear as possible.
Official hugger, don’t be scared of her folders with endless schedules.
Customer service. Management.
Darren Green, the man who is always everywhere. He will be the first one you meet (and you’ll love him from minute zero), and he will help and guide you in everything you need. Master of micro-management and lord of the Quarantine stage.
