Quarantine is an Art events label run by leading artists and agents provocateurs in Menorca, Spain. Our community of artists, art lovers, and open-minded individuals participate in events such as boot camps, talks, mentorships and masterclasses, all while enjoying a touch of Spanish wine.
Quarantine was born with the commitment to offer what an academic education, due to its very nature and purpose, cannot: progress as an artist, not as an art student.

What Quarantine is NOT?
Quarantine is not a painting holiday, art retreat, or a place to copy mentors. It’s an extremely demanding experience for those willing to be off their phone all day.

At Quarantine, we don’t offer solutions, but instead, we help you find your own path to unlocking your creative potential. Our approach is centered around questioning, experience, and genuine exchange of ideas.

Quarantine: strict rules to follow
Phones are prohibited
Seriously, no exceptions.
What happens on the island stays on the island. If you don’t feel ready for this, you best not enroll in this experience.
You will be working hard here. Unleash your attention. Really unplug and connect with what is here and now using your brain, not your phone. You may not think so now, but you’ll thank us for it.
Admission is curated
This is not a painting holiday. It’s hard. It’s exhausting. It is real. And we just want to be sure that nobody signs up by mistake.
This is why we personally do an individualized participant selection process: we want the most committed people!
The program is a secret
We’re not trying to be mysterious here. Quarantine is an adventure, and the challenges will remain secret to help you take full advantage of all their benefits.
Having no preconception is essential, so just be open-minded, and expect the unexpected.
The Quarantine Challenge
Quarantine requires a high level of personal commitment and is not for everyone. It’s intense, overwhelming, and requires questioning of beliefs and academic principles. Participants must be open-minded, think outside the box, and be prepared to be taken out of their comfort zone.
The Lazaretto state of mind
Lazaretto is an island within an island, where ideas can also be quarantined. Smartphones are therefore prohibited.
Lazaretto is the Tortuga Island for artists: a haven, a hideout. A 100% no bullshit island.
We guide artists to help unearth a mindset that unblocks their creative potential.
Our philosophy
At Quarantine, we don’t have a recipe for creating talent, but we have a compass. We like compasses, not maps; we love time, not clocks. Experiences are valued over lessons.
